Brady's Birthday Party

We had a few friends over for Brady's first birthday this weekend. Angela and her kids came up from Richmond while Tom nursed his back. I think he should have made the drive and then had Brady crawl all over his back to make him feel a bit better.

When we gave Brady the cake, neither Heather or I thought he'd do much with it other than squish it and toss it down to Tonka. Boy were we wrong, he loved it. As you can see from the video below he really enjoyed it.

The fire was roaring in the fireplace, so I decided to put together a few short videos of the kiddos. This one was taken while they were having fun while taking a bath. Brady is really into peek-a-boo right now and Sophia seems to be happy just taking care of him a bit.

Today we had Brady's birthday party and I took some really good video of him with his first piece of cake. We've never seen him so into eating something. He didn't even notice the birthday crown he was wearing. It will be up later this week.
